Meet Our Team

Allen Mitchell

Allen Mitchell

Allen Mitchell holds an Electrical Engineering degree from The Citadel and is a registered EIT in the State of South Carolina. He is a licensed General Contractor in the State of North Carolina (57287), a licensed Mechanical Contractor in the State of North Carolina, (06374), and a licensed Electrical Contractor for HVAC in the State of North Carolina (29529SP-PH). Allen is a BPI Certified Professional, EPA Certified, NATE Certified, and double board certified (NATE and IGSHPA) for Geothermal Heat Pump installations. He is also a member of ASHRAE, ACCA, and IEEE. During his career outside Mitchell Heating & Cooling, Allen designed Large Power Transformers for Electric Power Utilities up to, and including 345,000 Volts and 300 MVA. Most recently, Allen was the Director of North American Marketing Operations for ABB’s Large Power Transformer business before returning to the area to rejoin Mitchell Heating & Cooling.


Richard Cash

Richard Cash

Richard Cash is our service technician and is a graduate of Enloe High School. He has 21 years of HVAC experience with sales, installation and servicing of heavy and light commercial and residential systems. He is NATE Certified, EPA Certified, and holds a Journeyman Certification Card. When Richard is away from Mitchell Heating & Cooling, he coaches for the Rolesville Youth Soccer Program. He is currently pursuing his North Carolina Mechanical Contractor license.


Billie Mitchell

Billie Mitchell

Billie Mitchell is our team’s Office Manager. As a graduate of the College of Charleston she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and course study at Trident Technical College. Billie has multiple professional, business, and marketing certifications to include NALS Legal Training Course. Billie comes to us from careers in marketing, research, and sales.


Russell Brogden

Russell Brogden

Russell Brogden is a member of our installation team. He is a graduate of Franklin Christian Academy and currently has 12 years of HVAC installation experience. Russell holds an EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification and a Journeyman card. Before Mitchell Heating & Cooling, Russell worked on his family farm and was a transfer truck driver. He currently owns and operates a farm where he raises horses and goats.


Connie Mitchell

Connie Mitchell

Connie Mitchell and Mike Mitchell Founded Mitchell Heating & Cooling in 1973 with the goal of “Providing Quality Products and Services, on time, from a family you trust”. Connie has over a decade of community leadership service; and has served in the State Department of Public Instruction, the State Legislature, the State Governor’s Office, and the State Board of Elections. Connie is also a State Certified Election Official. She has held a myriad of important community volunteer positions; including the Rolesville Fire Department and Rolesville Baptist Church as a teacher, book keeper, and music instructor. Connie Mitchell is a daily reminder of what all the things leaders in our community must do to be successful. She holds every member of our team to the highest of standards. Connie continually reminds us to take great pride in our work and strive to keep our customers satisfied.


Charles Alvarez

Charles Alvarez

Charles Alvarez is our Sales and Marketing Manager. He comes to us with an Environmental Engineering Degree from NC State University. Charles has Heating and Cooling experience in Environmental Engineering and has worked for the North Carolina Division of Water Quality. He has been a Network Engineer and has owned and operated multiple businesses. Charles started his own convenient store business right out of college. Charles also enjoys teaching Sunday School at the Rolesville Baptist Church.


Ward Christman

Ward Christman

Ward Christman is one of our installation technicians and holds an Associate’s degree in Arts from Central Texas College. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and retired as a First Sergeant. While in the Army, Ward graduated from the U.S Army Sergeant Major Academy’s First Sergeant Course and is an honor graduate of the U.S. Army’s Non-commissioned Officer Academy. He is currently attending Wake Technical Community College’s Air Condition & Refrigeration program. Ward is also a certified FAA private pilot and is pursuing his commercial piloting license.
